Yesterday saw myself (Helen) and Scott visit Hampton Hill theatre where we met with the lovely Harry Jacobs. Earlier this year we finished the recovering of 142 upholstered seats at this theatre which plays a huge part in the local community. Harry showed us the upholstered seats we restored back in place and were where they belong and a mini tour behind the scenes.

There’s something truly magical about an empty theatre. As we looked around I could imagine the buzz of the actors & actresses as they rush to get dressed back stage. The sound of the excited chatter from the audience as the seats start to fill up. And then I could feel my shoulders unwind!

This particular project of recovering the seats was completed in four stages to ensure there was minimal disruption.
