Restaurants Seating

Restaurants Seating Cucina Hill UpholsteryI (Helen) had an excuse this week to admire the restaurants seating work we did for Italian restaurant Cucina in my lovely home town of Leigh on sea, Essex.

In July & August this year, our talented master upholsterers transformed the restaurants seating as part of their refurbishment. Lots of lovely soft blue & cool grey shades featured in the fluted seating which work great with the new copper lighting and accessories – bellissimo!

It was the perfect place to unwind after a very busy week.

London Design Festival 2017

London Design Festival

With the week of the London Design Festival already in full swing, we are excited to be attending Decorax 2017 tomorrow the 19th September and Focus/17 at Chelsea Harbour later in the week. For us this means an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the creative world of design, be educated and feel inspired by our surroundings. From this, our aim is to portray creativity in the work we produce for all our clients. If you are going along on Tuesday then give Scott or Helen a call as we’d love to meet up with you.

Upholstered Seating County Hall London

Early August Scott & Helen were lucky enough to visit the debating chambers inside the Riverside Building at the County Hall London. The debating room was used by Ken Livingstone and the Greater London Council through the late 1980’s, providing upholstered seating for over 200 council members and has four galleries overlooking the Chamber which was used for the public and members of the press. An interesting place to visit tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of the South Bank.

Nowadays the chamber is used for performances and corporate hire with this in mind some of the upholstered seating that had previously been removed needed to be replaced ready for their next hire, we turned this around for them in time for their next hire.  We’ve just found out the next performance to be held in the chambers will be the fantastic Agatha’s Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution – Fabulous!
